Have the famous long-haired cows replaced our beloved Simmental cattle, or have Scottish clans decided to invade the Swiss mountains? Fear not, this new sporting project has only peaceful intentions in the heart of the Saanenland and its most iconic village, Gstaad. This part of the Bernese Oberland, which could be translated into English as... the Highlands, has much more natural treasures to offer than just the image of luxury that often accompanies the famous resort. All you have to do is come and see for yourself!
This new event aims to be accessible to all, with distances that can be described as reasonable, and is organised by the Helvetica Trail team responsible for the Montreux Trail Festival, Crossing Switzerland and the Course des Ânes in Servion. It may well be that the Rock'n'Roll spirit present in Montreux will rub off a little on the Bernese Oberland. The world's most beautiful panoramic train, according to National Geographic, connects the two cities.
With five course formats with start and finish in the heart of Gstaad's famous main street, runners will find a traditional atmosphere and amenities that will make their active stay unforgettable.
SEE YOU ON SATURDAY, 26 September 2026 in Gstaad and the wonderful Saanenland!
